Inthis cohort of 4,699 patients receiving low-dose radiotherapy for benign musculoskeletal disorders followed for up to 20 years, three solid cancers developed within radiation fields (0.064%), with safety of modern lower-dose more homogenous LDRT plans presumably conferring even lower risk.
