ArteraAI is a multimodal AI platform that integrates digital pathology and clinical factors. It’s commonly used to risk stratify patients with intact prostate cancer and has even been shown to be predictive of ADT benefit in prostate cancer patients receiving RT. In this analysis, the test was run using patients from two of the STAMPEDE trials to determine if it predicted the benefit from adding abiraterone to ADT. They used the 75th percentile score to label patients as standard high risk or very high risk. For standard high risk, there was no difference in 5 year MFS with abiraterone (84 v 82%). For very high risk, though, abiraterone significantly increased MFS from 62% to 81%.
