Here is a look back at 79 hypogondal men receiving testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) during active surveillance for grade group 1-2 prostate cancer. These men on TRT experienced similar rates of biopsies, biopsy-defined disease progression, and definitive treatment initiation as did counterparts undergoing active surveillance without concurrent TRT. This is in line with analogous data supporting the safety of testosterone replacement to physiologic levels in hypogonadal men with treated grade group 1-2 prostate cancer. | Flores, J Urol 2026
