To the RSV prevention party. The past three months alone have brought historic FDA approvals for (1) two competing RSV vaccines which can be given to people over 60 years of age as well as pregnant women at 32-36 weeks gestation to provide infant antibody protection in the first few months of life and (2) a prophylactic monoclonal antibody now recommended for all infants of unvaccinated mothers less than 8 months old at the start of RSV season (usually October). | CDC 2023
