A meta-analysis of 13 studies (n=984) evaluating SBRT alone with no up-front systemic therapy for patients with ≤5 metastases across tumor types reports a pooled systemic therapy-free survival at 1-2 years of 70%, with expected substantial heterogeneity across primary tumors: standout rates of disease control with SBRT alone were seen in renal cell carcinoma (87%) and prostate cancer (78%). | Willmann, JAMA Netw Open 2025
