In this retrospective cohort of 13,258 patients with pancreatic cystic neoplasms, surveillance practices de-escalated substantially over time, with declining endoscopic ultrasound and pancreatic surgery use and increasing reliance on MRI. Despite less invasive surveillance, pancreatic cancer incidence and stage at diagnosis remained stable across practice eras, supporting selective rather than routine invasive evaluation of low-risk pancreatic cysts. | Wu, JAMA Netw Open 2026
