This case report details a patient experiencing >10% weight loss by fraction 20 of definitive head and neck radiation. A nasogastric tube (NGT) was placed by a radiation oncologist in clinic followed by CT re-simulation to enable adaptive replanning to account for altered anatomy. The CT sim doubles as confirmatory imaging for appropriate tube position.
